Have more Sleep

According to a survey by Licorice, having more sleep is preferred by 30% of respondents. Sleep is not always considered as something that lazy people do. Making sure to get enough sleep is like making sure that they treat their body right. They are giving yourself time to recharge. They allow their brain to take a rest and come back on a full battery.

Eating Favorite Food

About 23.6% of respondents prefer eating favorite foods. Great food always makes people feel good, whatever their favorite foods are. Indonesia is also known for its vast choice of menu, which makes this stress reliever choice is completely understandable. It will make them feel happy, energized, and alive.

Enjoying Beautiful Scenery

This activity is preferred by 19.8% of respondents. Indonesia has a lot of beautiful scenery. Simply looking at nature for a few minutes can have a similar, calming effect on the brain.

Looking at relaxing scenery can also be viewed as a form of mindfulness meditation that activates the parasympathetic system, the part of the nervous system that helps us relax and quiet the areas of the brain that are involved in fear and anxiety.

Doing Sport Exercises

18.6% of Indonesian respondents prefer doing sport or exercise. Exercise is one of the most important things you can do to combat stress.

It might seem contradictory, but putting physical stress on a person’s body through exercise can relieve mental stress. The benefits are strongest when the exercise was done regularly. People who exercise regularly are less likely to experience anxiety than those who don’t exercise

Spending time with the pet

This activity was done by 4.2% of respondents. Having a pet may help reduce stress and improve people’s moods.

Interacting with pets may help release oxytocin, a brain chemical that promotes a positive mood. Having a pet may also help relieve stress by giving you purpose, keeping you active, and providing companionship — all qualities that help reduce anxiety.

Singing Loudly

Singing loudly is not preferred by most Indonesian but is still chosen by 3.8% of respondents. Well, Singing can help tame stress but also lift the spirits. Singing is a natural antidepressant.
